I hope you had a great weekend!  It was beautiful and warm here so it was nice to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Valentine's Day isn't a big holiday to me, but my friends and I normally get together for a girls night even if some of us are dating someone.  My friends are almost like another family to me and for me Valentine's Day is all about is celebrating important relationships, romantic or otherwise.  

This year, we are going to dinner and a movie and I will be wearing this (or something very similar...).  I love this rich red color since it feels appropriate for the holiday without being corny.  When planning I always look for something that I feel beautiful in but doesn't look like I'm trying too hard to impress (sorry friends!) and the mix of the silk shirt and ripped jeans hits the mark perfectly.
