Valentine's Day Collaboration

I hope your week is going well!  I'd like to introduce you to Tugce from A Thread of Couture.  I love her fun, feminine style and we obviously share a love of a certain Clare V. leopard piece!  We thought it would be fun to show you our takes on a great Valentine's Day date outfit.  Make sure to visit her awesome blog here.

Here is what Tugce says about her look:

Hi everyone! I am Tugce Massey and I write the style blog A Thread of Couture. I am so excited to be collaborating with Nicole today for a fun V-Day look. I wouldn’t consider myself a big Valentine’s Day person, I usually like to stay home with my hubby or just have a nice and relaxing date night. My daily style is more casual than dressy but for a date night look I love to dress up and add feminine pieces to my outfits. I was so thrilled when I found this bright pink skirt online and so of course I bought it without a second thought. I have been on the hunt for a fun party skirt and I was so happy when I finally found one. This skirt is absolutely adorable and the hot pink color really makes your outfit stand out. I love high-waisted a-line skirts. They are so cute and can be timeless pieces in your wardrobe. I decided to dress it up with a cropped top and heels for date night. You can also wear this skirt with a t-shirt, sneakers or flats for a casual look. Thanks for reading! Don’t forget to come visit me at A Thread of Couture and follow along on Instagram @tugcemassey. Happy Wednesday!   XoXo

My "date night" look:

Hi, I’m Nicole from Nicole to the Nines, a fashion and style blog.  I normally spend Valentine’s Day with my friends, but I still like to incorporate a little red or pink into my outfit.  This red and leopard combo is a perfect flirty combo for dinner with friends or a date night.  I would probably replace the turtleneck with a silky top for a date night though especially if I liked my date ;).  What are you wearing on Valentine’s Day?

  6. Oooh, Nicole, getting saucy with a silk top (but only if you like your date!) Lol! I love how your look is more chic and tailored and hers is vibrant and fun. I would honestly wear both of these on any given day.

  7. Love how different both of these takes on valentines outfits are and i think it is so fun to collaborate with other bloggers. The 2nd outfit is something more along what I would probably wear but I actually find the first outfit extremely fantastic - probably because it is so out of my personal comfort zone.

  9. What a fun collaboration! I love both skirts! They are each such great holiday looks but totally different in terms of color. Just goes to show, leopard is the great equalizer. :)
