You guys all know that I love a great blazer (and I need a new one like I need a hole in the head...).  But when my favorite associate at Fab'rik texted me about this jacket, I knew I had to have it!  Giving my number him has been so dangerous for my bank account...   This jacket is such a fun statement piece that will look great with jeans (above) or a cute long-sleeve dress.  I'm slightly annoyed that the versions I found and linked to above are less than I paid, but I'm always happy to support one of my favorite local boutiques.  Hopefully, one of you can take advantage of the great deal!

Weekly Weaknesses

Am I the only one struggling to adjust to daylight savings?  You would think that we jumped forward 5 or 6 hours not 1, but I couldn't get out of bed yesterday morning and struggled to stay awake during The Bachelor Finale.  I wasn't surprised by who he picked.  However, they did a good job of drawing out Chris' choice (no spoilers here!) and I can't stand not knowing how something ends.  I'm the one who flips to the end of a novel to see the ending and then goes back to the beginning.

It was absolutely perfect in Atlanta this weekend and all I want to do is start buying spring clothes, like this beautiful Asos dress.  I've had my eye on it for a while, but after seeing it on my friend Ashley, I knew I had to pull the trigger as it is perfect for spring.  These black Keepsake sandals are also on my list as they are the perfect black version of my favorite Alexander Wang sandals (and not ridiculously expensive).  Finally, how cute are these Ugg(!) sandals.  I never would have guessed they are Uggs, but if there are anywhere near as comfortable as my Ugg boots, I might be sold.

One last thing.  Have you guys seen the & Other Stories collaboration with Clare Vivier -  We all know how much I love my Clare V. leopard clutch, she designed some very cute bags with H&M sister brand & Other Stories.  Everything is under $225 and I think this bag would be a fun pop of color for spring.

Weekend Sale Round-up

Happy Friday!  I know I'm ready for the weekend.  I love to burn the candle at both ends, but I'm counting down the days until Thanksgiving.  Turkey, a long weekend, Black Friday sales, no alarms.... I can't wait.  Is it sad that now it has finally gotten cold here I'm over winter already?  Maybe I just need to pick up a few more cozy sweaters from the sales below...

Two of my favorite stores are having their Friends and Family this weekend, Loft and Ann Taylor.  I've worn items from both stores so many times on the blog and always love to stock up on great pieces during their sales.  I feel like Loft and Ann Taylor are always having some sort of sale, so it never really makes sense to pay full price (not that I ever like to pay full price!).  It was a tough job looking though all of the sale items for you guys, but someone has to do it, lol!  My favorites are below.  I hope you have a great weekend!

I hope you had a great weekend!  I may work in a more creative environment, but I still always want to create outfits to wear to work that are polished.  I wanted to incorporate these Loft pants into an outfit to wear to work since I love how they look.  I firmly believe a great blazer can add polish to any outfit, and this Gap navy blazer definitely does that for these camo pants. The blazer, together with a simple button down and great pair of shoes, takes these casual pants seamlessly from weekend to weekday.

Over the weekend, I attend The Brand Market.  If it comes to your city, I highly recommend you go.  I learned so much that I can't wait to apply and met some amazing women who are pursuing their goals.

I hope your week is going well!  The weather really turned to fall this past weekend, and I pulled out one of my favorite pieces, my fur vest.  I grabbed this during Black Friday last year and have found that it goes with everything.  I can't believe how long it took me to buy a fur vest, but have found it to be the perfect chic layering piece.  While I don't love the cold(er) weather (come back summer!), cozy pieces like this fur vest make it somewhat bearable.  I'm still counting down the days until Spring though...

I hope you had a great weekend!  Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments on Friday.  It is amazing what a good night's sleep and a little me time (i.e. reading, relaxing, and shopping) will do.  I'm sorry I left you on a low note on Friday, but I feel so much better and refreshed now.  Sometimes it is hard to remember that you have to set time aside to recharge, but I always feel so much better when I do.

Have you every bought something that you don't know how you lived without it before you found it?  Maybe that is a little extreme, but this jacket is totally that for me.  I was killing some time in Zara (I should know better by now) and walked by this jacket.  I almost didn't try it on, but a great leather jacket has been on my list for a while.  As soon as I put it on thought, it was love at first sight and I want to wear it with everything!  I swear it makes almost every outfit look better. I can't believe it was under $100!  I think I got the better end of the bargain, but I'm not complaining.  I'm going to warn you in advance that you will be seeing a lot of this jacket over the next few months.

I hope your week is going well! I'm popping in for a quick hello as it has been a busy week at work trying to get ready for a big meeting this week.  

A leather skirt is one of those great fall basics that serves me year after year.  I updated my version this year with this pleated one from Banana Republic.  I've loved it ever since I first saw it in the new arrivals section there.  It is sold out, but I've linked to several similar skirts.  I can't wait to style it so many different ways, especially with a cozy sweater and tights!

I hope your week is going well!  I was drawn to these shorts as soon as I walked by Loft and tried to wait patiently for them to go on sale.  I love the pattern and how soft they are.  I guess everyone else loved them also as they sold out online quickly!

While I love my heels, this summer I've been loving the sneaker slide.  This leopard version is perfect as it adds a punch to any outfit (and is so comfortable!).  I can't believe these shoes haven't made more appearances on the blog yet!  I wear them almost every weekend and they've made a few appearances on casual Friday at work.  I might have to invest in another pair as it gets cooler.
