I hope you had a great weekend! My weekend was full of family celebrations as my Aunt and Uncle renewed their vows after 50 years of marriage. Given that they have both had very serious health issues over the past year, this celebration had a lot of extra significance and I was so happy to be there to celebrate with them. It really put the importance of family and making time for family into perspective.
I wore this outfit last week when I went to a book signing for one of my favorite authors, Emily Giffin (here). I forgot my camera (#badblogger) so I don't have any non-Instagram pictures to show. If it makes you feel any better, I also forgot the book I wanted her to sign... I told you it was a crazy week at work!
I love these jeans and live in them on the weekend. I've wanted to make them a little more office appropriate for a while. This dressy, structured top and black pumps were perfect to make these jeans less casual and more appropriate for the office. I also took a black blazer to the office in case of any impromptu meetings. Given the reception these jeans got, I think they will be making many more appearances at the office.
Note: I work in a very fashion forward environment.
Have a great day!

I love your little disclaimer at the bottom! I wear jeans to work on Friday usually, but technically they can't have rips in them. BUT, I could totally do something similar with a boyfriend jean. You look great, Nicole!
ReplyDeleteLoving this outfit and your accessories are amazing, but SO in love with your shoes. The heel detailing is beautiful.

You've styled your distressed jeans perfectly for work. Personally I don't think I could walk in such high heels but I do love them, they look great with your jeans as they contrast with the casualness of the jeans.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend :) I love your fun bag!! Such an amazing color.
