I hope you had a great weekend!  I rarely go to the movies, but saw Selma on Friday with my parents.  It is a very powerful movie with great acting and I highly recommend it!  I'm glad I had the opportunity to see it with my parents as it was so fascinating to hear their perspective on the events of the movie which took place while they were in high school/college.

I've wanted a cape for a long time, but have struggled to find one that fits my 5'2 frame and my budget.  I actually saw this cape on a lady at my salon but didn't have a chance to ask her where she got it.  Imagine how excited I was to find it at Zara!

There are two things I've found that help prevent this cape from overwhelming me.

1. Keep your pants, skirt, etc. in the same color family to prevent the cape from cutting you off.
2. Wear the cape with heels to look taller.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

  24. Hi! Thanks so much for your tips on wearing a cape for us shorter people! I've been wanting one for awhile but think I may look a little bit ridiculous in one, in Houston! Though, I may just cave in and get one. You look adorable in it, and if I happen to see one at Zara, I may just cave in and buy it!
