I hope you had a great weekend!  With wedding season around the corner, I wanted to share what I wore to my friend's wedding in Hong Kong (or rather what I planned to wear before the rain made me switch out these shoes for a more waterproof pair...).  As much as I love shopping, when it comes to weddings, I tend to have a few dresses I always reach for, rather than buying a new dress for every wedding.   My dresses tend to be simple and elegant, and I let my accessories stand out.  I bought this dress several months ago during an end of season sale and knew it would be perfect for some of the weddings I had coming up.  The beautiful draped fabric elevates it from a basic LBD into something special.  I paired it with my favorite red shoes and new Kate Spade clutch that I found at Nordstrom Rack for a perfect outfit that I was ready to dance the night away in.

Do you have a go-to wedding outfit?

Have a great day!

First Day in Vietnam

Top: Asos
Skirt: Maje, Old
Shoes: Dolce Vita
Purse: Marc Jacobs
Necklace: Bauble Bar
Earrings: C. Wonder, old

Greetings from Vietnam!  We arrived here late last night after a world-wind weekend in Hong Kong for my friend's wedding.  Hong Kong was amazing and my friend's wedding was beautiful.  It was my first Indian wedding.  I wore a sari for the first time, which I will share later this week or next week.

We quickly took these pictures at our hotel this morning, before getting ready to head out and explore Hanoi, and try some delicious Vietnamese food.  It is very hot and humid here so this hat is doubling as hair camouflage :).

If you guys have any suggestions of places to go in Hanoi, please let me know.

Have a great day!

Blue and Green

Sandals: Matt Bernson (love these and these)
Bag: Zara, old
Bracelets: Bauble Bar, old
Earrings: Boutique find

I hope your week is going well!  I bought this skirt a while ago during the Bloomies end of season sale and have been waiting patiently to wear it.  I'm so glad the warm weather is here and I can finally wear it!  I love the color and would normally pair it with a white t-shirt for a more casual look, but decided to dress it up with this silk shirt.  I can see why everyone is going crazy for those Equipment silk shirts!  This blouse is so versatile, a great color and a perfect way to add polish to a look.  And did I mention it is machine washable?  Perfect!
